Thai Journal of Student Research

Terms of use

The rules for using this site, for readers, authors and reviewers. Last updated 19 October 2026.

Agreeing to these terms

These terms apply to everyone who uses the site. By creating an account or using the site you agree to them. Questions go to the editorial office through the contact page.

Reading and reusing articles

Published articles are free to read and download. They are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0: you may share and adapt them for any purpose, including commercially, as long as you credit the authors and the journal and link to the article. The rest of the site, such as its design and page text, may not be copied without permission.

Accounts

You need an account to submit, review or edit. Use your real name and date of birth, keep your password and sign-in links to yourself, and keep to one account per person. Tell the editorial office if someone else has used your account. Authors under 20 need a guardian's consent, as the author guidelines explain. Accounts used to break these terms may be suspended.

Submitting a paper

When you submit you sign the author agreement. The agreement, the author guidelines and the publication ethics policy set the rules for your paper, and where they differ from these terms, they apply. In short: the work is your own and not published or under review elsewhere, every listed author agreed to submit it, and you keep the copyright. Fees, waivers and refunds are as set out on the fees page.

Automated tools

An automated preliminary check reads every manuscript, and titles, abstracts and keywords are machine translated into the other language, as is the full text of international-tier papers. These tools are run by the language model provider named in the privacy notice, which does not train on submitted work. They never accept or reject a paper; only editors do, and machine translations are checked by an editor or the author.

Reviewing and editing

Reviewers and editors keep manuscripts confidential, do not use their contents or pass them to anyone else, including AI tools, and decline papers where they have a conflict of interest, as the publication ethics policy describes. Reviewers' names are never attached to individual papers.

Acceptable use

Do not upload anything unlawful, harmful or that you have no right to share. Do not impersonate anyone, try to get into other people's accounts, probe or overload the site, or collect personal data from it. Search engines and indexing services are welcome to read published articles and the OAI-PMH feed.

Decisions, corrections and appeals

Editorial decisions are made by the editors. Authors may appeal a decision within 30 days, as the publication ethics policy explains. Published articles are not removed: errors are fixed with a correction notice, and serious problems lead to a retraction notice on the article.

Responsibility

The site is provided as it is, and may occasionally be unavailable. Articles are student research reviewed in good faith; the views and findings are the authors' own, and the journal is not responsible for decisions made on the basis of them. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Thai law.

Changes and governing law

These terms may be updated; the date at the top shows the current version, and significant changes are posted as an announcement. These terms are governed by the laws of Thailand.
