What personal data we hold and why (PDPA).
What we collect
Name, email, date of birth (to know whether guardian consent is needed), school or university, supervisor contact details, guardian contact details for authors under 20, and payment records. We never collect national ID numbers.
Processors
Hosting, email delivery, payments (Stripe), the preliminary-check language model provider (Anthropic, which does not train on submitted data), and LINE login. Manuscripts are sent to the language model provider for the preliminary check only.
Retention
Drafts are deleted after 12 months of inactivity; rejected submissions are kept for 24 months then anonymised; published articles are kept permanently.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data by writing to the data protection contact.
